In June 2026, Hududgazta'minot approved technical requirements for remote shutoff devices capable of operative automatic disconnection and reconnection of natural gas. The devices are installed on the pipelines of large wholesale consumers connected to gas distribution networks across all regions of Uzbekistan.
The key requirements: a DN50–300 ball valve rated 16 bar with class “A” leakage and IP67 protection, an RTU controller with 4G LTE and 5G (SIM and eSIM), a 20+ Ah battery, an anti-vandal cabinet with tamper control, command reception via API from the billing system and a safe staged gas start-up (10% → 30% → 100%) with on-site confirmation.
